Celebrating Virtual Assistant Day – A Little Late, But With a Lot of Heart

Virtual Assistant Day may have officially passed last Friday, but we couldn’t let it go unacknowledged — even if we’re posting a few days late. Why the delay? Like many in this industry, we’ve been head-down, laser-focused on what matters most: our clients. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Still, it’s important to pause and reflect on just how lucky we are to do what we do.

Not a week goes by without someone on the team saying, “Can you believe this is our job?” And while that might sound a bit cheesy, it’s absolutely how we feel. Supporting incredible businesses, helping them grow, and being trusted with the moving parts behind the scenes — it’s a privilege we don’t take lightly.

Of course, there are late nights and challenging days (what business doesn’t have those?), but every bit of hard work is worth it when you're truly passionate about what you do. We’re beyond grateful for the clients we’ve had the chance to work with — past, present, and hopefully many more in the future.

As a team, we’re learning to embrace the wins, quiet that little voice of imposter syndrome when it tries to creep in, and fully own the value we bring. Because being a virtual assistant — or OBM, or online business support specialist — is more than a job. It’s a career built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine love for helping others succeed.

To our fellow VAs and business owners who support them: Happy (belated) Virtual Assistant Day. Here’s to doing work we love, with people we admire.
